The purpose of this research is to know the potential of snail resources, the level of bark resource utilization and to formulate the management of barking resources in Tanjung Qudus Dusun III Pangkil Village, Bintan Bay District Bintan Regency Riau Islands Province. This research was conducted in February-June 2017. From the results of research conducted found 3 types of snail namely Strombus canarium, Strombus urceus and Strombus turturella. With the average value of barking abundance is 6.67 (ind/m2). The diversity of barking species with “medium” diversity is 1.04. The catching trip with maximum sustainable catch is 88.1122942 Kg / week. The condition of water quality in Tanjung Qudus can be said is still good for the life of snail barking. People in Tanjung Qudus Pangkil Village utilize many snails gonngong as food and in perjual traded at Rp. 400 – 600/tail.
